Casting is fundamental to storytelling.
As a working singer and actor, I have been informally consulting on opera casting for years, developing my inherent instinct for that magical combination of vocal qualities, dramatic and stylistic strengths, type, personality, and chemistry between performers and directors. Casting is my secret superpower.
Storytelling is my passion.
With two decades of experience and passion for bringing stories to life on stage, helping assemble the right artists to tell those stories is a natural extension of that work. When a production brings together a cast whose individual artistry and collective chemistry amplify one another, then opera shines its brightest.

While casting is guiding a company to tell their stories more effectively through their artists, coaching is helping cultivating the source material! I guide singers to tell their stories more clearly through their physicality, languages, style, creativity, choices and intention -- in short, to tell their stories with honesty and clarity -- the kind of storytellers I want to see and be with on stage!
